The Golden LEAF Foundation recently welcomed new Accounting Specialist Flecia Silver.
“We are excited to announce a new staff member to help carry out the mission of the Foundation,” said Golden LEAF President, Chief Executive Officer, Scott T. Hamilton. “Flecia brings a great set of skills and expertise to our hardworking team of dedicated professionals.”
Silver joined the Golden LEAF Foundation on June 12 as the Accounting Specialist. In her role, she provides accounting/financial support and human resources assistance.
Silver has over 15 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining the Golden LEAF Foundation, she was the Accounting Specialist at QVC in Rocky Mount for 10 years. Silver began her accounting career at the Nottingham Investment Company as a Fund Accountant and as a Staff Accountant for the nonprofit organization Rural Health Group.
A native of Whitakers, N.C., Silver is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting from ECPI University’s College of Technology.
