Golden LEAF welcomes Director of Programs Administration

In March, the Golden LEAF Foundation welcomed Ginger Mustamaa as Director of Programs Administration.

“We are excited for Ginger to join the team to help carry out the mission of Golden LEAF,” said Scott T. Hamilton, Golden LEAF President, Chief Executive Officer. “She brings valuable experience and a strong skill set that will complement our team of dedicated professionals.”

In her role, Mustamaa is responsible for analyzing and implementing systems that enhance the efficiency and consistency of Golden LEAF’s grants management processes. She works closely with programs staff to develop process improvement strategies that expand the Foundation’s capacity to award funding and support projects across the state.

Prior to joining Golden LEAF, Mustamaa served as a Workforce Development Board Director in southeastern North Carolina, where she oversaw the management of federal funds and the administration of workforce programs. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening systems to ensure compliance while strategically deploying resources to align services with the evolving needs of business and industry.

A native of Iowa, Mustamaa earned her degree from Iowa State University and has received various certifications in workforce and economic development.
