Sydney DeLancey joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in July 2025. As the External Affairs and Strategic Initiatives Manager, Sydney is responsible for outreach and engagement, foundation events, government relations, and strategic initiatives. Sydney works closely with the External Affairs and Programs teams to coordinate events and support the implementation of key initiatives.
Before joining Golden LEAF, Sydney served as the Special Assistant to the CEO at The Results Company, where she supported high-level client and C-Suite engagement, internal operations, project coordination, and special events. She also previously worked for the N.C. Land and Water Fund and in the office of U.S. Senator Thom Tillis.
A Wilson County native, Sydney holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from NC State University. She is a member of the Junior League of Raleigh and the Junior Women’s Club of Wilson. Sydney lives with her husband, Justin, in Wilson.
