Miranda Dalton joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in October 2012. As a Program Officer, Miranda evaluates funding proposals, supports the implementation of Golden LEAF priorities, and oversees project monitoring and compliance activities. Her work focuses on the Workforce Preparedness priority.
Before joining Golden LEAF, Miranda served in diverse roles across the education system, having taught at the high school, community college, and university levels.
A native of Rockingham County, Miranda holds a Master of Business Administration from Winston-Salem State University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill. She also has a certificate in Nonprofit Management from UNC-Greensboro. Miranda is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development with a specification in Adult, Workforce, and Continuing Professional Education at NC State University. She is a graduate member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and an advisory board member for Winston-Salem State University’s MBA program. She lives in Raleigh.
