Jenny Tinklepaugh joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in August 2007. As the Communications Manager, Jenny is responsible for leading the development and dissemination of Golden LEAF’s strategic external communications, including digital content, media relations, and brand management. She oversees the newsletters, website and social media content, media engagement, and internship program coordination, while supporting other External Affairs priorities.
Before joining Golden LEAF, Jenny worked as an editor and special section advertising manager for the Washington Daily News in Washington, NC. Throughout her career, she has focused on the production and dissemination of content to external audiences.
A native of Beaufort County, Jenny holds a master’s degree in English with a concentration in Technical Writing and a bachelor’s degree in English from East Carolina University. She is active in her community and serves on her church finance committee. She lives in Rocky Mount with her husband, two daughters, and an Australian Labradoodle.
