Jason Rochelle joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in February 2016. As a program officer, Jason evaluates funding proposals, supports the implementation of Golden LEAF priorities, and provides oversight for project monitoring and compliance activities. Jason works with projects across all Golden LEAF priority areas.
Before joining Golden LEAF, Jason most recently worked as a nonprofit program manager, overseeing grant development, program monitoring, and evaluation. Prior to that position, he served for several years as a regional director for a healthcare corporation.
A native of Onslow County, Jason holds a master’s degree in General/Theoretical Psychology from Appalachian State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNC-Wilmington. Jason lives in Rocky Mount with his wife, Michelle. They have two children, Elijah and Lillian.
