Program Officer

Elizabeth Bryant joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in August 2024. As a program officer, Elizabeth evaluates funding proposals, supports the implementation of Golden LEAF priorities, and provides oversight for project monitoring and compliance activities. Elizabeth manages projects in all of Golden LEAF’s priority areas with a focus on infrastructure projects.

Before joining Golden LEAF, Elizabeth served as the Executive Director of a regional natural resources nonprofit, overseeing grant and program development, monitoring, and evaluation. She also worked in planning and community development for municipal and county governments. 

A Wake County native, Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Administration from NC State University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Meredith College. Elizabeth volunteers with Edenton-Chowan County Schools and is a Middle School Sunday School teacher at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She lives in Edenton with her husband and their three children.
