Caty Gray Urquhart joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in May 2024. As the Director of Operations, Caty Gray is responsible for providing strategic leadership for informational technology, daily office operations, and facility maintenance. She identifies opportunities for improvement and implements solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. She also develops and implements record retention procedures for physical and electronic records. She serves on the President’s leadership team.
Before joining Golden LEAF, Caty Gray served as the Team Leader at Tarboro Brewing Company, where she oversaw daily operations, supported business-distributor relationships, and the administration of beverage management software. Throughout her career, Caty Gray has focused on ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of an organization’s daily operations and managing informational software.
A native of Edgecombe County, Caty Gray holds a master’s degree in Elementary Education and bachelor’s degree in Psychology from East Carolina University. She lives in Speed.
