Blythe Evans joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in May 2023. As the Board Liaison, Blythe is responsible for facilitating Board meetings and managing board materials. As the Operations and External Affairs Coordinator, she works closely with Operations, External Affairs, and other staff to provide administrative support and efficient day-to-day operations.
Before joining Golden LEAF, Blythe worked as the Membership Director for the North Carolina Retired Governmental Employees Association, where she contributed to strengthening member engagement and organizational growth. She also served as a Legislative Assistant at the North Carolina General Assembly and as an Executive Assistant for a defense contractor.
A native of Wilson County, Blythe holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is active in her community and serves as a church music director and piano accompanist for community events and theatrical productions. Blythe resides in Wilson.
