NC Ag Leads is a strategic planning initiative for the North Carolina agriculture industry that will position the state’s number one economic driver for continued success. NC Ag Leads brings together stakeholders to address industry-wide, cross-cutting topics that impact commodities grown in North Carolina, and charts a course that strengthens North Carolina’s position as a leader for agriculture and agribusiness in the United States.
Golden LEAF is proud to be a key funder of the NC Ag Leads, which was officially announced November 9, 2023.
NC Ag Leads staff and leadership has held stakeholder meetings, war games, and an “imagine” day, alongside other collaborative meetings, to complete a picture of the needs for the agriculture and agribusiness industries as a whole across the state. The initiative is in the final stages of Phase 1 and will have next steps by the end of the summer.
