Golden LEAF welcomes Program Associate

March 14, 2024

On March 4, 2024, Golden LEAF Foundation welcomed Kathy Ktul as a new Program Associate.

“We are excited for Kathy to join the Golden LEAF team,” said Scott T. Hamilton, Golden LEAF President, Chief Executive Officer. “Kathy’s skills and expertise will support our Programs team and enable her to be a great resource for grantees.”

Before she joined Golden LEAF, Ktul has served as the Registrar at Vance-Granville Community College since 2001. In her role, Ktul evaluated information submitted by students and faculty for compliance and provided feedback, as well as oversaw various reports, managing against many deadlines and responsibilities. Prior to joining Vance-Granville, Ktul also served in roles at Wake Tech Community College and as a US Peace Corps Volunteer.

As the Program Associate, Ktul will support the management of grants that have been awarded and participate in other program-related activities. Most of her work will be making certain that grantees have submitted required information and following up with grantees to provide technical assistance.

Ktul is a graduate of SUNY Alfred, Cornell University, and received a Masters at N.C. State. She is a current resident of Louisburg.
