Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the City of Wilson to establish an Innovation Hub to attract and retain workers with IT skills in Wilson, spark innovation among Wilson’s current employers, and spur entrepreneurship and innovation across Wilson’s demographic range. The project will benefit employers seeking technology savy workers and citizens seeking a pathway to business ownership by offering a cooperative fabrication lab, co-working space, training, and support for innovation. Golden LEAF funds will be used for building renovations.
