The Town of White Lake experiences localized flooding during heavy rain
events. Golden LEAF flood mitigation grant funds were used to develop a Stormwater Management Plan for the town. Components of this project included field data collection, review of stormwater management strategies in other communities, modeling of existing watersheds, development of concept plans and alternatives, and a summary report. The plan leveraged similar plans created for planning and lake maintenance. The entire town will benefit from the completion of this project.
