Jones County RISE is a newly formed nonprofit organization serving as the long term recovery group in Jones County. Kinston Area Rebuilding Effort (KARE), the long term recovery group in Kinston formed after Hurricane Matthew is providing technical assistance and will serve as the fiscal agent. Funding awarded from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund will be used to provide for home repair, including contract labor, as well as replacement personal property (furniture, appliances).
