This award provides funding to extend a waterline to Warren County’s Highway 1 Industrial Site. The county anticipates recruiting industries related to manufacturing and distribution to the site. The project is projected to create 75 new full-time jobs with an average annual wage of $60,000, compared to the county average of $34,526. The project also expects to generate $80,000,000 in private capital investment and $1,087,460 in public investment. Golden LEAF funds will be used for construction, engineering, due diligence reporting and potential environmental remediation.
