To prevent future potential flood occurrences through the CSX railroad penetration under I-95, Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will be used to construct a mechanical floodgate system and an earthen pumping platform. A Community Development Block Grant will support a portion of this project cost.
