Description:

This award provides funding to McDowell County for clearing, grubbing, and rough grading on approximately half of the 413-acre Universal Technology Park site. Golden LEAF funding will leverage grants from the Appalachian Regional Commission and the North Carolina Department of Commerce Industrial Development Fund that will extend a road and water and sewer into the park.
