This Golden LEAF grant will provide funding to Gates County to support construction of public sewer infrastructure that will serve a new commercial development located along US 158. Two companies, including an assisted living facility, have committed to locate in the park and create 70 jobs if sewer service is available. Other funders of the $3.1 million project include EDA, NC Rural Center, and Gates County.
