The Salvation Army works with the Departments of Social Services in Onslow and Jones counties to identify individuals and families needing assistance. The Salvation Army is working with organizations in Jones County to base operations locally in addition to their office in Jacksonville. Funding awarded from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund will be used to provide housing assistance, including required deposits, mortgage assistance, and home repair expenses, as well as replacement personal property.
