This grant funded Franklin County Public Schools (FCPS) to implement the “T3 (Tech Teaching and Transformation)” project, which enabled high school students to develop the digital skills necessary to compete in the increasingly global economy. Building upon prior investments by the district to train teachers in technology-rich instructional practice, FCPS used Golden LEAF funds to purchase Chromebook carts and devices for use by high school students and teachers. The district provided ongoing professional development for teachers, resulting in the integration of digital teaching and learning in the classroom.
