This award allowed Brunswick Community College to purchase equipment to train students in manufacturing through metal fabrication. The college expected to enroll 150 students. Seventy-five percent of these students were expected to complete a pathway, earn industry-recognized credentials, and secure work-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, or paid employment. Golden LEAF funds were used to purchase machining equipment and for related costs.
