The Town of Chadbourn experienced significant flooding as a result of Hurricane Matthew. The town has established a stormwater revenue source and seeks guidance regarding prioritization of projects for future improvements. Golden LEAF Hurricane Matthew Disaster Recovery grant funds will be used to study and evaluate the stormwater system needs, including the town’s man-made and natural drainage systems to determine their conditions and deficiencies.
