This award provides funding to Goshen Medical Center, Inc. to equip its new Federally Qualified Health Center located in Sneads Ferry, potentially serving at least 1,400 new patients in rural Onslow and Pender counties. Goshen Medical Center expects to create more than 20 new, full-time positions at this facility. Golden LEAF funds will be used for equipment and medical furnishings for the medical center, including exam rooms, laboratory, imaging suite, nursing station, and pharmacy.
