This award provides funding to Robeson County to construct an approximately 80,000 square foot shell building, expandable to 142,000 square feet, at the COMtech Business Park. The county anticipates that completion of the building would result in $11.6 million in public infrastructure investment, $9,152,000 in private capital investment, and the creation of 75 new jobs with an average annual wage of $45,500. Golden LEAF funds will be used for design, planning, and construction of the shell building.
