This award provides funding to Robeson County to construct an approximately 80,000-square-foot shell building, expandable to 142,000 square feet, at the COMtech Business Park. The county anticipates that completion of the building would result in $9,898,895 in public infrastructure investment, $9,152,000 in private capital investment, and the creation of 75 new jobs with an average annual wage of $45,500. Golden LEAF funds will be used for design, planning, and construction of the shell building.
