Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to assist River Way, a new regional tourism and environmental center in Lumberton, with its efforts to expand and enhance small business development and tourism in Robeson County along the I-95 and Hwy. 74 corridors. Funds from this grant will be used to provide educational and training sessions to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs and support organizational activities that will lead to the development and implementation of a planned marketing strategy. The project is expecting to create 150 new jobs from small business and tourism development in Robeson County.
