Several facilities owned by the City of Lumberton were flooded and damaged by Hurricane Matthew. Public Assistance from FEMA will not be adequate to pay for costs incurred. This Golden LEAF grant will meet unmet needs including building repairs, design services, and mold remediation. Damaged facilities include a water treatment plant, a fire station, two electric utility buildings, and two recreation buildings.
