Description:

The County of Bladen water system lacks sufficient reserve power capacity to keep all of the wells operating in the event of a total power loss as was experienced during Hurricane Matthew. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will support installation of generators at four critical water supply wells.
