This award provides funding to the City of Whiteville to renovate a publicly owned, 17,000-square-foot facility to facilitate the expansion of Provalus, a private company providing US-based outsourcing for companies seeking dependable, quality IT services. Provalus will lease the building from Whiteville. The $2.1 million renovation is expected to result in the creation of at least 67 new jobs, with an average annual wage of $45,098.18, and $1 million in private capital investment. Golden LEAF funds will be used for building renovations.
