This award provides funding to extend water infrastructure to serve a new manufacturing facility of BorgWarner in Hendersonville. The company expects to create 378 new jobs paying an average annual wage of $64,630 and to make a capital investment of $100 million. The water infrastructure will provide needed capacity to the facility and create a redundant system and provide enhanced service to other industrial sites in the area. Golden LEAF funds will be used for construction of water infrastructure and related expenses.
