The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Bladen’s Bloomin’ Agri-Industrial loan program to assist with up-fit of a 5,600 sq. ft. facility that will be leased to Bladen Healthcare. Bladen Healthcare is expanding its primary care center in Bladenboro and will be adding specialty care and imaging services which are currently not available in the community. It is expected that Bladen Healthcare will create over 10 jobs as a result of the expansion. Other funders of the project include USDA and the NC Rural Center.
