Funding will be used to continue the project of cultivating plants that have been historically only grown in the wild by expanding greenhouse capacity at the Avery County Landfill site. Project Branch Out provides growers with seedlings grown in the landfill gas heated greenhouses, technical support on growing the plants, and assistance connecting with market outlets.
