The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Goler Community Development Corporation for continuing support of its Piedmont Contractor Resource Center. The purpose of the Center is to create jobs and increase underutilized contractor participation in large scale construction projects. The primary population served by the Center is smaller MBE trade contractors with average revenue of less than $300,000. Golden LEAF funds would support costs of the project such as financial counseling and bid preparation assistance provided to participating contractors.
