This Golden LEAF grant will provide farmers of the region who wish to diversify into alternative crop production access to a wholesale market outlet for such crops as produce, nursery stock, bedding plants, Christmas trees, and hay. Funds are to be used to purchase a forklift and refrigeration units so that the auction can be expanded and thus handle a larger volume of produce.
