Description:

The purpose of this grant is to assist Dare County in developing an overall branding and coordinated marketing effort for seafood from Currituck, Dare, Hyde, and Tyrrell Counties. The program is expected to increase consumer demand for local seafood products in restaurants and retail establishments and encourage consumers to pay a premium price for local products. The program will be modeled after similar successful programs in the state.
