This grant provides funding to Weldon Middle School to implement a digital learning project. Teachers will receive professional development in using technology as a tool to improve instructional practice. Students and teachers will receive digital devices. The problem-based learning environment will support students as they transition into a STEM high school consisting of two academies: Health Sciences and Advanced Manufacturing. Golden LEAF funds will be used for professional development and technology.
