Hurricane Matthew contributed to electrical outages that resulted in depletion of available water supply to the rural areas of the county. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will be used to install gas-powered generators at booster pump stations #21 and #51 in the Northside service area to prevent future disruption of water service.
