The purpose of this grant is to support Roanoke-Chowan Hospital (RCH) and its partners in implementing the New Choices Program designed to address the shortage of health care workers. The program will provide training and services to 75 low-income, single heads of household with the expectation that at least 25 will graduate from accredited healthcare courses of study in nursing, respiratory therapy and radiology technology by the end of year three.
