This award provides funding to Goshen Medical Center, Inc. for construction costs to build a new Federally Qualified Health Center located in New Bern near Pollocksville. The new center will replace two community health center sites, one of which was destroyed by Hurricane Florence, and expand services. Goshen Medical will create nine new, full-time positions at the facility totaling $785,000 in annual payroll. The project has also received $1 million in funding from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
