The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to conduct a formal third party evaluation of the economic outcomes resulting from the $106 Million Golden LEAF Rural Broadband Initiative which will provide over 1,600 miles of new fiber optic cable in 69 North Carolina counties. The evaluation will examine economic and other effects of the Initiative.
