Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Town of Taylorsville for support of a project that will extend public sewer service along the NC Hwy 16 corridor south of Taylorsville through the Millersville community. Lack of public sewer service along this corridor with residences and businesses is prohibitive to further growth and development. The grantee states that many septic systems along the route are failing and others are at risk of failing. The project will connect this corridor to the Town of Taylorsville’s existing wastewater system.
