Wind and flooding caused by Hurricane Florence damaged the church. The church roof was compromised and nearly a foot of floodwater entered the building. Identified repairs needed include HVAC and flooring replacement, mold remediation, and roof repair. The church is working with the Baptist Men to assist with the needed repairs. Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds will be used for repair of the church. Insurance proceeds will be used toward the project.
