The East Erwin basin has been subject to frequent flooding, most recently as a result of Hurricane Matthew. Golden LEAF Hurricane Matthew Disaster Recovery grant funds will be used to upsize the stormwater infrastructure under Maye Street to reduce future flooding in the area.
