This award provides funding to Martin County to support the establishment of an emergency response system. The county will acquire Paramedic Emergency Response Vehicles to provide emergency and prehospital care to county residents. This care is essential as the county works to reopen its hospital. The project will create new paramedic positions paying at least $62,000 annually. Golden LEAF funds will be used to purchase the vehicles.
