The grant provided funding to the Town of Parmele to replace the Public Works maintenance garage and the town mower and bush hog that were damaged by heavy winds and rain from Hurricane Matthew. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funds were used to replace the maintenance garage and equipment.
