The program supports attendance in the following programs: 1) Fundamental and Advanced Supervisory Practices courses, which provide basic management and supervisory competencies to professionals; 2) continuing education courses in core competencies for local government professionals, and skills in basic legal and fiduciary obligations, service management, and planning and administration for elected officials; and 3) organizational scholarships for customized advising and training to allow small jurisdictions to address specific capacity development priorities. Golden LEAF funds will be used for sponsorship of supervisory practices courses, scholarships, customized advising and training, and outreach, management, and administration.
