Description:

The purpose of this project is to provide funding to Person County to purchase equipment that will be leased to Eaton Corporation. The equipment will allow Eaton to expand manufacturing at its Roxboro plant to fabricate an innovative new line of valve trains. The company was also considering two sites in Mexico for this expansion. The company will create 122 jobs over five years that will pay an average weekly wage of $842 plus benefits.
