This grant provided funding to Chesapeake Regional Medical Center (CRMC) to open a new internal medicine facility in Elizabeth City to provide urgent care, primary care, imaging, and an outpatient lab. Opening the new facility was expected to result in the creation of seven new jobs and 16,000 annual patient visits. Golden LEAF funds were used for equipment and information technology.
