Description:

This grant provides funding to North Carolina Wesleyan University to be used for mechanical and electrical services and design fees to prepare an existing building to become its dedicated program facility and simulation laboratory for a new baccalaureate nursing program. The project will help address current and future openings in the region for baccalaureate-level Registered Nurses. Wesleyan anticipates the first cohort of 35-45 students will start in fall 2025 or spring 2026 and expects to graduate at least 115 students with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing by May 2029.
