Hola Carolina has a history of supporting the Latino community in North Carolina, particularly during crises. The organization was founded to address the unique challenges faced by Latino individuals and families in emergency situations. Hola Carolina has focused on collecting and distributing a variety of disaster relief resources. By mobilizing volunteers and partnering with local businesses and community members, the organization has recently managed supply distribution, including clothing, food, and emergency supplies. Golden LEAF grant funds will be used for rental assistance, utility assistance, replacement personal property, and case management for survivors of Hurricane Helene.
