The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV) is the only statewide domestic violence coalition in North Carolina. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, NCCADV formed response teams to ensure domestic violence survivors and agencies were receiving the support they needed. NCCADV will coordinate responses to the needs of agencies in the Helene-impacted communities to assist affected shelters and survivors. Golden LEAF grant funds may be used for shelter/personal items, providing access to shelter, and mileage.
